Justin is a staff attorney at the Law Offices of Johanna Herrero. He is a graduate of New England School of Law. As the son of an immigrant from the Netherlands, immigration law has always been a passion of Justin’s. Justin joined the firm with extensive experience with USCIS and EOIR, including provisional unlawful presence waivers, waivers of inadmissibility, adjustment of status, naturalization, and motions before immigration court.
While attending New England School of Law, Justin participated in a semester-long immigration law clinic at a Boston-based immigration firm. He also volunteered with the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) doing pro bono work to help immigrants with their applications for lawful permanent residence and for naturalization. After graduating, Justin clerked at an immigration law firm in downtown Boston.
Justin’s work with the Law Offices of Johanna Herrero has a particular emphasis on the firm’s provisional unlawful presence waivers, motions to reopen before the immigration court, and applications for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture.
